Graduates in Leicester will be able to take discounted further study at either of the city’s universities thanks to a new joint offer.
For the first time, ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Leicester (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ) and the University of Leicester (UoL) have worked together to offer graduates from either university the chance to continue their studies on a range of courses run across both institutions.
Leicester Postgraduate Partnership offers more than 90 courses covering areas including healthcare, art, fashion, business, law and computing, all of which are available with a 20% reduction in fees.
The offer aims to encourage graduates to further their skills and take advantage of the many opportunities Leicester offers, but it is open to distance learners, too.
A selection of the courses offered include:
- Fine Art MA (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ)
- Fashion and Textiles MA (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ)
- Intelligent Systems and Robotics MSc (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ)
- Cyber Security MSc (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ)
- Cancer Cell and Molecular Biology MSc (UoL)
- Forensic Science & Criminal Justice MSc (UoL)
- Human Rights and Global Ethics BA (UoL)
- Cloud Computing MSc (UoL)
A full list of available courses, terms and conditions and details of how to apply are available here and there is still time to apply for September 2022 entry.
Professor Katie Normington, Vice-Chancellor of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, said: “Leicester is a city full of opportunity and we want to give our graduates the best chance possible to find that out for themselves by staying in the city to further their study.
“The graduates from University of Leicester and ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ go on to be the doctors, nurses, lawyers and business leaders across the city.
“Through this offer, we want our graduates to build on their skills, deepen their specialisms and develop a deeper understanding of their chosen industry while receiving a significant discount from the city’s universities.”
Professor Nishan Canagarajah, President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Leicester, said: “By drawing on the expertise at Leicester’s two universities, we want to offer both ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ and University of Leicester graduates the opportunity to take the next steps in their chosen careers.
“Graduates already provide a rich seam of talent to our city through their creativity, thirst to learn, and unique viewpoint in tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues. Through this new collaborative offer, we will be able to help more graduates realise their potential, right here in Leicester.”
