Personal profile

Dr Kamrul Sunon is a Lecturer in Finance at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ. Previously, he worked as a Financial Analyst at a renowned consultancy firm in Bangladesh. Dr Sunon’s career path has seen the transition from working in the industry to working in the academia at different UK and international universities. Prior to pursuing his PhD at the University of Leeds, he worked as a Lecturer in the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh for 5 years. He worked as a Part-time Lecturer in Leeds Beckett University while pursuing his PhD. Dr Sunon also worked as an Associate Lecturer in the University of Leeds before joining the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ. His research interests include corporate finance, behavioural corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, sustainable finance, corporate governance, market misconduct, and forecasting.
